Merchants Alley Happy Hour Music Series – Athens

The Merchants Alley Happy Hour Music Series is back for a fall season. The show begins at 5:30 p.m. this Friday with headliner Brian Holder. Grab a bite from a downtown eatery, sip on a drink in the entertainment district and gather in Merchants Alley for a night of good music and great company.
Alabama A&M Football v. Tennessee State University – Huntsville
September 12
Ring in the football season by catching a game nearby! Alabama A&M Bulldogs face off against Tennessee State University at Louis Crews Stadium. The game kicks off at 6 p.m. and tickets are available for $56 per person.
Jazz in the Park – Huntsville
September 13
Jazz in the Park continues the 2026 festival with the second week in Big Spring Park. The music begins at 5 p.m. with Richard Shaw, followed by Cameron Sankey at 6 p.m. This week’s headliner is Julian Vaughn, who will begin performing at 7:30 p.m. Jazz in the Park is free to attend and there will be local food trucks available for guests looking to grab a bite. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket to relax and enjoy the show!
Orion Night Market: Sip and Salsa – Huntsville
September 15
The Orion Night Market is back and turning up the heat with Sips & Salsa. The market begins at 5 p.m. and offers handmade goods, a delicious spread from food trucks and specialty bar drinks. Once you have your sips, it’s time for Salsa hosted by Baila Huntsville. Dancers of all skill levels are invited to explore their rhythm on the dance floor.
Pooches and PUPkins – Huntsville
September 17
Huntsville Botanical Garden hosts Pooches & PUPkins. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with tail wagging local vendors and seasonal displays beloved by pooches and their people. Be sure to dress up for the occasion and join in the Pooch Parade at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for most creative costume, best duo and the fan favorite pup.
