UNION GROVE — PeopleTec is teeing up its ninth annual PeopleTec Helping People charity golf tournament at Cherokee Ridge County Club to benefit the Semper Fi Community Task Force. The event is June 3; there will be flights at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

“We are excited to have Cherokee Ridge once again host our annual PeopleTec Golf Tournament in support of the Semper Fi Community Task Force,” said Terry Jennings, CEO at PeopleTec. “This is a nonprofit organization very near and dear to my heart, and we are honored to continue supporting the Warfighter in every way.”

The Semper Fi Community Task Force is a nonprofit organization that supports and assists veterans, military, first responders, and their families. The organization includes members from the military and law enforcement, families, and friends.

Through its core values of courage, honor, and commitment, members give back to the community. The programs include tornado/disaster recovery, youth mentoring, JROTC and Young Marines programs support, family readiness support to local reserve units, veterans employment and financial aid.
