ALDOT to patch southbound I-65 in Limestone County

ATHENS — The morning commute will be slow this week for motorists on I-65 through Limestone County.

Alabama Department of Transportation crews will be patching the southbound lanes from Exit 365 in Ardmore to milepost 341 (the CSX railroad overpass) and motorists should expect intermittent single-lane closures at various locations on the roadway.

Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Thursday.

Expect delays and plan additional travel time. Please reduce speed and be prepared to merge.
