ALFA endorses Rep. Parker Moore for House District 4

The Alabama Farmers Federation has endorsed Republican Rep. Parker Moore (R-Decatur) in the House District 4 race. Moore has represented the district that includes portions of Limestone, Madison and Morgan counties since 2018.

“I am honored to have the continued support of the farmers of House District 4,” Moore said in a statement. “They are committed to conservative values that I support, and they have a tremendous economic impact on this district.”

Moore, a Decatur High School graduate, studied political science at The University of Alabama and currently serves as marketing director for DOC Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

In the Alabama House of Representatives, Moore serves on the Transportation, Utilities and Infrastructure Committee and the Boards, Agencies and Commissions Committee. He is also a member of the Energy Council and serves as vice chair of the Fiscal Responsibility Committee.

The Alabama Farmers Federation is the state’s largest farm organization, representing more than 360,000 member families statewide. The group uses a grassroots process for endorsements, relying on recommendations from county Farmers Federation boards for local races.

“Rep. Parker Moore works hard and represents the people of this district well,” said Morgan County Farmers Federation President Mike Reeves. “We have confidence he will continue to be a strong conservative voice for us and for agriculture in the legislature.”
