ARDMORE – Crape myrtles will bloom in Ardmore this weekend.

The Greater Ardmore Chamber is gearing up for Saturday’s Greater Ardmore Chamber Crape Myrtle Festival, presented by BT’s Towing. Set for Ardmore City Park (John Barnes Park) in Ardmore, Tenn., the annual festival runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The guests of honor, of course, are crape myrtles available for purchase.

“This will be one of the largest festivals the chamber has ever hosted,” said Greater Ardmore Chamber of Commerce Director Yolandia Eubanks. “We encourage everyone to come out and support the town and city of Ardmore and the Chamber.”

Festivalgoers should the festival gate on Hamlett Street off Main Street between Piggly Wiggly and King’s Hardware. Parking and entry to the festival is free.

Along with the crape myrtles, there are more than 160 vendors ranging from arts and crafts to hospitality to information as well as food vendors and food trucks.
