The Mid-South Woodcarving Show is one of the Southeast’s premier woodcarving events, attracting carvers, collectors and enthusiasts from across the Southeast. The event features a juried competition, demonstrations where carvers share techniques and tips with attendees, a vendor marketplace and exhibits and sales of one-of-a-kind woodcarvings created by master artisans.

It’s also an opportunity for beginners to connect with mentors, try their hand, and explore the tools and materials used by seasoned carvers.

The event is at Trinity United Methodist Church, 607 Airport Road. Event hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 1. Admission is free.
