Arts Huntsville home tour opens doors to local art enthusiasts’ homes and collections

HUNTSVILLE – Arts Huntsville is offering a celebration of art and creativity next weekend.

On Saturday, Arts Huntsville opens the doors to five homes transformed into living galleries, each reflecting the unique vision of a local art enthusiast.

The Art Tour of Homes is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is presented by Valley MLS and supported by Floor & Décor, KPS Group, The Scout Guide, J. Henry Plumbing, and The Newberry and Reynolds Families.

Arts Huntsville’s Art Tour of Homes showcases how art is part of living spaces, giving tourgoers a greater understanding of how anyone – on any budget – can use art to enhance their environment. The event provides an opportunity to experience Huntsville’s flourishing and thriving arts community.

The homes are:

  • The Piedmont home of Sallie & Matt Denton
  • The Five Points home of Megan & Darren Gessner
  • The Five Points home of The Simōn Family
  • The Five Points home of Debbie & Alex Tomlinson
  • The Wakefield home of Beverly and Lou Weiner

Tourgoers may begin the tour at any of the five homes on the day of the event. The home addresses are available at artshuntsville.org the week of the event.

Tickets are $20 and available for purchase in advance online through the Arts Huntsville website or on the day of the tour at the first house visited, with exact cash.
