HUNTSVILLE – Arts Huntsville will continue the tradition of honoring local military with Military Salute Night at the Panoply Arts Festival.
To recognize their service and sacrifice, all active-duty military personnel, Armed Forces reserves and their dependents be admitted free Friday, courtesy of Leidos.
“Military Salute Night is a special tradition for us at Panoply, where we can celebrate and show our gratitude for the active duty servicemen and women and those serving in our Armed Forces reserves,” said Allison Dillon-Jauken, executive director of Arts Huntsville. “Thanks to their selfless service and sacrifice, we can celebrate wonderful events like Panoply and experience the arts each day across our community.”
Friday’s programming is 5-9 p.m. with fireworks sponsored by Delta Research.
Performances will take place on Panoply’s Showcase stages presented by Pepsi on Friday, including Smorgasbord, Common Man, and headlining performance by Billy Allen + the Pollies.
