Athens-Limestone Hospital names Langford director of emergency and outpatient services

Athens-Limestone Hospital has named Stacy Langford, RN, as its new Service Line Director of Emergency and Outpatient Services, bringing more than two decades of emergency care leadership experience to the role.

Langford joins Athens-Limestone Hospital after a 24-year career with Huntsville Hospital, where she spent 13 years as director of emergency services.

During her tenure, she oversaw high-acuity emergency operations and led initiatives focused on clinical excellence, performance improvement and team development.

In her new position, Langford will oversee both emergency and outpatient services at Athens-Limestone Hospital, with responsibilities that include improving operational efficiency, expanding patient access, strengthening quality outcomes and advancing innovation in patient flow and throughput.

Hospital leaders said Langford is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to build strong partnerships that enhance patient care and provider experience.

Her appointment comes as Athens-Limestone Hospital continues efforts to improve access to high-quality emergency and outpatient care for residents of Limestone County and surrounding communities.

Athens-Limestone Hospital is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System and provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services focused on compassionate, community-centered care.
