Avion Solutions awarded $43.5M Army propulsion services contract

HUNTSVILLE — Avion Solutions has been awarded a contract to support Army propulsion project and aircraft systems.

The five-year Redstone Arsenal Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services task order for the Systems Readiness Directorate is valued at $43,597,140.91.

Avion, as the prime contractor, will provide analysis of aviation propulsion engines and systems, subsystems, component design and operation.

Included in its mission, the Huntsville company will also review test plans and reports, witness tests, analyze and investigate failures and provide system safety and risk management assessment.
