Daly launches campaign for Madison mayor

MADISON – Margi Daly, a resident of Madison for 21 years, has announced her candidacy for mayor.

In a news release, Daly said her platform emphasizes the implementation of transparency, fiscal responsibility, proactive infrastructure development and a community-centric City Hall.

The founder of MCWatchdogs, Daly said she is dedicated educating the community about the “potential for authoritarianism within the city manager’s role,” the release said.

Qualifying for Madison city offices is June 10-24. The municipal elections are Aug. 26.
