Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer is going to be speaking at a special event in Huntsville.
According to a story from Fox 54, DeBoer will be the keynote speaker at the Madison County Chapter of the University of Alabama Spring Scholarship Dinner, which will be held on April 28 at the Von Braun Center Saturn Hall at 6:00 p.m. CST.
Tickets, which are $75 for members and $90 for non-members of the Madison County Chapter, can be purchased for the event here.
The University of Alabama National Alumni Association is the host of the dinner and holds the claim of being the largest alumni-based scholarship program in the country. More than $5 million is awarded every year to over 3,000 students by the association, helping young people all over the nation manage the financial burden that college can be.
DeBoer’s inclusion as the keynote speaker should make it an even more successful event in terms of raising money to award to prospective UA students, and those same students in attendance might just get the chance to hear the most prominent figure at their future school speak.
