Huntsville law firm Dentons Sirote welcomed new attorney Sarah Ray to the firm’s Tax Controversy practice group as Of Counsel in the Huntsville office.

Ray’s diverse experience with civilian and military legal issues honed her ability to understand clients’ needs from a variety of perspectives. Her proven leadership abilities allow her to take charge of legal issues and resolve them with confidence.

As a highly organized and detail-oriented lawyer with more than 10 years of experience in the legal, military, and administrative communities, Ray has worked in policy management and implementation, legal and administrative research, military justice litigation, strength management, and tax law.

Ray began her career as primary assistant to six military attorneys operating with the offices of Military Justice. She then advised multiple generals and colonels of the Afghan National Army Ministerial Staff regarding strength management and prepared monthly analyses for review by Congress and the president.

Later, as an adjutant for the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Ray managed the formulation of all military and civilian requirements and policies and acted as senior advisor to her commanding officer.
