ALDOT job fairs at area Career Centers

MONTGOMERY – The Career Centers in Huntsville, Decatur and Sheffield will be hosting job fairs next month for the Alabama Department of Transportation.

  • The Huntsville Career Center’s job fair is June 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Huntsville Career Center, 2535 Sparkman Drive NW.
  • The Decatur job fair is June 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Decatur Career Center, 1819 Bassett Ave. SE.
  • The Sheffield job fair will be June 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sheffield Career Center, 500 S. Montgomery Ave.

The available positions at ALDOT are:

  • Clerk
  • Administrative Support Assistant I
  • Engineering Aide
  • Service Patrol Operator
  • Transportation Maintenance Technician
  • Transportation Worker
  • State Technical Trainee – Traffic Signal Technician
  • State Technical Trainee – Equipment Mechanic
  • State Technical Trainee – Automated Transportation System Operator

The event is free to all jobseekers. Walk-ins are encouraged. Applications can be completed at personnel.alabama.gov or by visiting the Career Centers.
