Drake State hosting NASA-sponsored summer camp

HUNTSVILLE — Drake State Community & Technical College is hosting a unique summer camp with an out of this world program.

The Summer Bridge Camp for high school students is sponsored by NASA’s Minority University Research and Education Project. The camp runs June 5-22.

High school students will spend three weeks learning about STEM careers, college life, and receiving instruction and tutoring in math, physics, and computer science.

They will receive a $250 stipend for participation and Drake State will provide a free lunch each day.
