Easter Bunny Cares: A sensory friendly event at Parkway Place Sunday

(Eventbrite for Parkway Place Mall Contributed)

Parkway Place Mall has teamed up with Cherry Hill Programs, Autism Speaks and The Riley Center to host Bunny Cares this Sunday, April 3 from 9 -11 a.m. at Parkway Place.

The sensory-friendly event is for children of all ages with special needs so they too can enjoy the time-honored tradition of the Easter Bunny photo experience in a calming environment prior to public mall hours.

Families will be assigned numbers when they arrive. Sensory stations have been set up at nearby tables where they can wait until it’s their turn to individually visit with the Bunny.

The intent is to bring smiles and spring magic to families who may not have the opportunity to visit the Easter Bunny otherwise.

Photo packages are available for purchase during the event.

Families are asked to RSVP in advance by reserving one free ticket per group. Click here for reservations.

Enter the mall on the lower level at the center court entrance under the parking deck.
