HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville Hospital Health System has been named to Forbes’ 2025 list of  America’s Best-in-State Employers, recognizing the organization’s strong workplace culture and commitment to employees across the Tennessee Valley.

It’s the second year in a row for HH Health on the Forbes list, with previous honors in 2024 and 2022.

“Being recognized by Forbes again is especially meaningful because it reflects what our team says about working here,” said President and CEO Jeff Samz. “Their dedication to excellent, compassionate care is what makes HH Health a special place to work and to receive care.”

Eighteen Alabama-based businesses made Forbes’ best employers list with HH Health being one of only two companies headquartered in North Alabama.

“Our goal is to create an environment where every team member can grow, feel supported, and do their best work,” said Jennifer Holly, vice president of human resources. “We’re grateful for this feedback and remain focused on programs that strengthen career pathways, well-being, and belonging across our system.”

Forbes develops the Best-in-State Employers list in partnership with market research firm Statista.

For 2025, more than 160,000 U.S. employees evaluated their employers on factors such as culture, opportunities for advancement, and responsiveness to serious workplace issues. Scores incorporate current-employee feedback in each state as well as evaluations of former employers and peer organizations, with greater weight given to recent, in-state responses.
