Fort Payne’s Artemis Shielding expands into Canadian market

FORT PAYNE – As a Fort Payne business pushes its boundaries, it recently expanded its reach across an international boundary. 

Artemis Shielding has entered into a distribution agreement with SDI Canada, the company announced. The partnership allows Artemis Shielding to offer its entire portfolio of lead-free, non-toxic solutions to businesses and organizations throughout Canada.

“We are thrilled about the opportunities this collaboration with SDI Canada bringsl” said Chris Linder, Artemis Shielding chief operating officer. “This partnership not only expands our market reach but also sets the stage for continued advancements, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the field of radiation shielding.”

Artemis Shielding is a veteran-founded and operated radiation shielding company headquartered in Fort Payne. A medical infrastructure company, SDI Canada has expertise in RF & magnetic shielding, turnkey design & construction, prefabricated modular solutions and the distribution of specialized accessories.

The execution of this agreement represents a step toward Artemis’ international growth strategy, according to a news release. The partnership with SDI Canada is the result of an evaluation of the competitive landscape, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and expediting delivery times.
