Good grief! Havoc going back to back with wiener dog races and Peanuts jerseys

HUNTSVILLE — Well, it had to happen.

The Huntsville Havoc is going to the dogs this week.

But, it’s in a good way as the fastest little athletes in the Rocket City take the ice at Thursday’s game with the Quad City Storm.

The players will wear these “Peanuts”-themed sweaters Friday night.

The traditional wiener dog races take place during the two intermission periods of the game.

Then, as an added treat, the first 1,000 fans through the doors receive a jersey towel courtesy of the Empowered Veteran.

As if that’s not enough, Charlie Brown and the gang are back Friday night for the annual “Peanuts” holiday game.

The Havoc hits the ice against the Evansville Thunderbolts in specialty Peanuts-inspired jerseys, which will be auctioned off on DASH to benefit United Cerebral Palsy.

Faceoff for both games is 7 p.m. For tickets, click here or call 256-518-6160.
