HUNTSVILLE — “Don’t miss the launch.”

That’s the advice from the Huntsville City FC who open their home schedule in four weeks.

Season ticket sales have been astronomical for the first-year club, according to Chad Emerson, the team’s director of business operations.

“We’ve been very pleased with the sales,” Emerson said. “There’s been a great response from the community.

“Just to see the excitement North Alabama has for soccer, it’s been a real rewarding experience.”

The club announced the sale of single-match tickets and group tickets Wednesday and Emerson said the high season-ticket sales could create a sense of urgency for some fans.

“We are fortunate to be selling a number of season tickets in advance,” he said. “There’s a sense of ‘If you want to get a seat, you better get your tickets.’”

The club’s group ticket plan offers a “group experience” for groups of 30 or more and 50 or more.

  • The Player Mascot plans (minimum size 50 fans) will provide 22 kids (ages 8-12) the opportunity to take the pitch hand-in-hand with the Starting XI for pre-match ceremonies.
  • Post-match photos on the field are available for groups with a minimum size of 30.

Huntsville City continues its opening-season road odyssey Sunday. The club visits Inter Miami CF II for a 6 p.m. kickoff. An official watch party is slated for Huntsville’s Straight to Ale at Campus 805 (2610 Clinton Ave.) The match can also be viewed on the MLS Season Pass in the Apple TV app.
