Local bookstore, The Snail on the Wall, is answering the call from Huntsville book-lovers in the form of their annual Books & Brews & Boos: A book fair for grown-ups.
The book fair will be hosted on Oct. 26 from 7 to 10p.m. at Straight to Ale.
The Books & Brews & Boos book fair is free to access for all to join in the spooky, bookish fun. Early access tickets are available to shop the fair before the crowds from 6 to 7 p.m. for those who just can’t wait.
The Early Access shoppers will receive a coupon to use at The Snail on the Wall and be able to pick a book from a bin of Advanced Reading Copies — books given to the bookstore before their release date. There are tickets required for early access at $12 each.
Grab a cocktail and browse the array of new releases, seasonal autumnal reads, and enjoy the ghoulish, bookish surprise bonuses.
This year features author Lauren Evans, author of Casket Case, who will be signing copies of her new rom-com, Just Like a Dream.
Get a different type of reading in the form of tarot with Stephenie Walker of The Transformative Tarot.
The party doesn’t end there! The Snail is hosting a separate midnight release party for the much anticipated sixth installment in Sarah J Maas’ A Court of Thorn and Roses series, A Court of Splintered Harmony.
Readers don’t have to wait for the next morning to get their hands on the newest Maas read, they can pop in to the Straight to Ale Speakeasy from 10:30 – 11:30 p.m. Admission to this party is a preorder of A Court of Splintered Harmony from The Snail.
