HUNTSVILLE – For those who may have been taking stock of their career options, there’s no need to shop around any more.
The Huntsville Career Center is providing employment opportunities at Food City for folks to check out.
The supermarket chain is conducting a hiring event hosted Friday by the Huntsville Career Center with multiple positions available.
There are at least 40 job openings for the new location including food service workers, stockers, bakers and assistant managers. All shifts will be hiring.
The Food City hiring event will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Huntsville Career Center, 2535 Sparkman Drive.

The Alabama Career Center System is part of the Alabama Department of Workforce’s Employment Services Division. The system operates 57 Career Centers throughout the state, touching all 67 counties.
Career Centers provide free services for jobseekers and employers, including résumé and interview preparation services, educational and vocational training, along with workforce development services and wage assistance.
