Huntsville Hospital Foundation launches Liz Hurley Ribbon Run T-shirt design contest

HUNTSVILLE — Step by step.

To help celebrate every stride taken, every survivor’s journey and every life saved through early detection, the community is invited to create the look for this year’s Liz Hurley Ribbon Run.

The Huntsville Hospital Foundation has launched a contest to design the official race T-shirt for North Alabama’s largest and most iconic 5K run. The winning design will be featured on some 6,500 shirts worn by runners, walkers and breast cancer survivors at the event.

The foundation is calling on graphic designers of all backgrounds – from students and professionals to passionate amateurs – to create a bold, race-day-ready design with a “Step by Step” theme that reflects the energy, hope and unity of the event.

“We’re looking for a standout graphic that captures the heart of Ribbon Run and brings our community’s spirit and cause to life,” said HHF Director of Events Anna Manning. “The winning design won’t just be printed on thousands of shirts – it will become part of our story and our mission to fight breast cancer.”
