Huntsville/Madison County Chamber hosting College Career Fair

HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with local and regional colleges and universities to connect college students with career opportunities in the Rocket City.

Huntsville: ASmartPlace College Career Fair will provide career opportunities for college/university students who are local to the Huntsville area or those who attend out-of-area schools and are home for the holidays.

The fair is Dec. 16 from 2–5 p.m. in The Atrium at Redstone Federal Credit Union, 220 Wynn Drive.

Through partnerships with regional colleges and universities, students will have the opportunity to visit with employers offering full-time roles, co-op positions, and internships.

This event is free to all student job seekers, but registration is required. Register here.

Student requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from college. All majors/industries and class levels are welcome.
• Parents: If your student is not yet home for holiday break, you are welcome to attend on their behalf to learn about career opportunities; we do ask that you sign in at the door.

Registration fees

• Member employers – for-profit, $200; nonprofit, $100;
• Non-member employees – for-profit, $400; nonprofit, $20.

The deadline for employers to register ends Dec. 8. The fee includes: one table and two chairs; two company representatives; light refreshments.
