Huntsville/Madison County Chamber hosting program on ‘Power of Military Talent’

HUNTSVILLE — For area companies interested in hiring military talent, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a program next month to answer questions and provide resources.
The panel discussion will emphasize the importance of hiring military talent and the collaborative efforts driving impact in our region.
“Whether you’re an employer looking to enhance your hiring practices or a stakeholder interested in workforce development, this discussion will provide both inspiration and practical takeaways,” the Chamber said in a news release.
The program will feature key organizations, like NextOp, Hiring Our Heroes, and Still Serving Veterans, that are each doing important work to recruit, support, and retain veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
Panelists will share how their individual programs are making a difference and explore the ways they are working together to build a stronger, more coordinated ecosystem for military talent.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into best practices, available resources, and actionable strategies for engaging military-affiliated professionals.
It will be June 17 from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Chamber office in downtown Huntsville. Online regisration is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members. To register, click here. On-site registration is $25 for members and non-members.
