Huntsville Parks & Recreation collecting coats for Cozy Care Holiday Drive

(City of Huntsville)

HUNTSVILLE — The Parks & Recreation department, in collaboration with Christmas Charities Year Round, is hosting the Cozy Care Holiday Drive through Dec. 8. The initiative provides coats and gloves to those in need for the chilly seasons.

“We’re looking forward to supporting this project for a second year,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “This is a great opportunity for community members to get involved and give back.”

Clean and wearable coats, hats and gloves should be placed in designated boxes in the lobbies of Huntsville recreation centers. All sizes are accepted.

Donations should not be left at the doors or other locations at recreation centers.
