Huntsville’s LSINC showcases direct-to-object printing technology

HUNTSVILLE — New, direct-to-object printing technology by LSINC and its partner Marabu North America – including a UV inkjet printer – is on display today at a joint New Product Launch & Technology Showcase at LSINC headquarters.

Direct-to-object printing is placing a company’s branding or logo directly on three-dimensional objects such as glassware, golf balls, thumb drives and other surfaces. The showcase is 12:30-4 p.m. at LSINC’s facility at 490 Discovery Drive

LSINC, a digital print technology and engineering company in Cummings Research Park, and Marabu of Charleston, S.C., are demonstrating three LSINC direct-to-object digital printers, including the contour printing Perivallo360m; their award-winning high-speed, four tunnel PeriQ360; and the newly announced PeriOne, the fastest single tunnel cylindrical printer in the industry and the grandfather to a complete family of printers from entry level through production.

“Each of our printers brings something unique to the marketplace, and we are excited to share what makes LSINC’s family of digital printers the best option for customers ranging from small print shops to Fortune 500 companies,” said Alicia Ryan, CEO of LSINC. “The use of Marabu inks in LSINC’s machines provides a fantastic opportunity to share optimal visual representation of the machines’ capabilities from a trusted leader in the digital ink space.”

LSINC has spent 20 years designing and building digital print technology. The machines will be using Marabu’s industry leading digital UV inks.

Marabu North America is a global manufacturer of screen, digital and pad printing inks.

“It’s exciting to find a company like LSINC that shares our vision for the future of direct-to-object digital printing,” said Marabu North America President Bob Keller. “Their level of expertise in equipment design and development is second to none. The fact their operations are entirely in the U.S. makes them the perfect partner.”
