Huntsville’s Watring Technologies acquired by Cimarron Software Services

HUNTSVILLE — Houston-based Cimarron Software Services acquired Huntsville-based Watring Technologies, a design, manufacturing, and hardware integration company. The amount of the acquisition was undisclosed.

“Watring Technologies is an outstanding company with a reputation of delivering highly technical solutions,” Cimarron CEO, Jeannie Crowell said. “We are excited to complete this acquisition and invest to further expand the capabilities of Watring Technologies as a Cimarron company.”

Cimarron, an engineering and technology company, has had a Huntsville office for more than 20 years. The firm has been considering to expand its engineering and manufacturing capabilities to better support multiple, large aerospace and defense programs.

Watring’s expertise includes prototyping and industrial automation, which fits with Cimarron’s long-term goals, the company said.
