Huntsville-based Yorktown Systems Group has been awarded a $51.6 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide warfighter training support services for the U.S. Air Force Academy over the next five years.
According to the Department of Defense, the company received a $51,565,132 firm-fixed-price contract to provide Warfighter Training Support Services (WTSS) at the Air Force Academy in Colorado.
The work will be performed at the U.S. Air Force Academy and is scheduled for completion by Aug. 2, 2031.
The contract was awarded through a competitive acquisition process that attracted 12 offers. The Air Force obligated $3.51 million in fiscal year 2026 operations and maintenance funding at the time of the award.
The 10th Contracting Squadron at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado serves as the contracting activity.
Founded in 2008, Yorktown Systems Group is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business headquartered in Huntsville. The company provides training and education, mission support and technology solutions to federal agencies, the Department of Defense and international partners, including NATO.
Yorktown’s training portfolio includes customized instructional programs, language and cultural education, modeling and simulation capabilities and professional military education support. The company also provides program management, logistics and administrative services for defense customers.
The latest award adds to Yorktown’s growing portfolio of military training contracts and further strengthens Huntsville’s position as a hub for defense and national security contractors supporting the U.S. armed forces.
