HUNTSVILLE – Trends in Cloud & Managed Services Transformation is the topic Tuesday at the Lunch & Learn event.

Melanie Posey, Cloud & Managed Services Transformation Research director at New York City’s 451 Research, is the keynote speaker at the Jackson Center event. Sponsored by Huntsville’s DC BLOX data center, the presentation runs from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Posey will address the complex decisions facing organizations as they encounter practical obstacles in moving workloads to the cloud and connecting their increasingly distributed digital infrastructure.

She will provide important insights into these challenges and offer some practical approaches to addressing them.

In addition to managing the research team at 451 Research, Posey analyzes the evolution of enterprise IT through the lens of cloud, and the associated transformation of IT consumption and delivery models.

Prior to joining 451 Research, Posey spent more than 15 years at International Data Corporation in a variety of roles providing analysis, forecasting and insight for the cloud, hosting, datacenter, managed services, and telecommunications markets.

She won numerous awards at IDC for research, collaboration, sales support, and client service, and was runner-up for the prestigious James Peacock Memorial Award.
