Italian flavor coming to Huntsville with opening of Osteria LuCa

HUNTSVILLE — The city of Huntsville will soon be home to a celebrated Italian-style eatery featuring a menu inspired by neighborhood ristorantes found across the European country.

Osteria LuCa, the establishment coming to the Rocket City in 2025, will offer fresh seafood, hot and cold antipasti, specialty cocktails, craft beers, and a curated selection of Italian wines. The restaurant will be at Stovehouse and will aim to give its customers a “slice of Italian authenticity.”

To make the new restaurant possible, Osteria LuCa has teamed up with Power Brands Hospitality, an owner and operator of multiple restaurant brands, including Five Guys, Nothing but Noodles, Melt, Prohibition, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

“Expanding to a new city always brings a level of uncertainty, but we’ve seen great success in Charlotte due to our commitment to quality and customer service,” said Ken Martino of Osteria LuCa Charlotte. “When looking to grow, we knew we needed a partner who shared our vision and values. Power Brands Hospitality Group, with their strong presence and community focus in Huntsville and Birmingham, was the perfect fit.

“Their emphasis on service and quality mirrors our own, making this partnership a natural next step.”

Kumar Patel is the managing partner of Power Brands Hospitality Group.

“We are thrilled to introduce Osteria LuCa to the Huntsville community,” Patel said. “Our goal has always been to bring unique and quality-driven dining experiences to this market, and Osteria LuCa is a perfect fit. Its commitment to authenticity, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere aligns seamlessly with the values that Power Brands Hospitality Group represents.

“We’re confident that locals will embrace this Italian-inspired concept just as they have our other brands. Osteria LuCa will not only be a fantastic addition to Stovehouse, but it will also elevate the overall dining scene in Huntsville.”

The Huntsville location looks to build on the success of the first and only other Osteria LuCa in the nation which was voted “Best Italian Restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina” in 2022.

The 4,166-square-foot restaurant will offer a variety of seating options: general seats, the bar, the pizza bar, and in a covered patio.
