CARLISLE BARRACKS, Pa. — James Lomax, whose position with Corporate Office Properties Trust in Huntsville places him at the front gate of the sprawling Redstone Arsenal, joined the U.S. Army War College student body last week for an annual National Security Seminar.

Lomax, vice president of Asset Management & Leasing for COPT, was one of 168 business, government, academic and community leaders selected nationwide to take part in the week-long, graduate-level program. The National Security Seminar was the capstone event of the Army War College’s 10-month curriculum.

The seminar provides academic and social interaction with Army War College students, who represent senior officers in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and other nations’ armed forces, with senior federal agency civilians.

COPT is a real estate investment firm that includes the Redstone Gateway mixed-use office and technology park and Bridge Street in its portfolio.
