HUNTSVILLE — If you’re looking for a job, or to start a career or begin the next chapter in your life, then the annual ReLaunch Job Fair is where you need to be.
The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is collaborating with the local Alabama Career Center, the Alabama Community College System, local nonprofits, and community agencies to help bridge the gap between the under-resourced job seeker and employers.Â
There will be more than two dozen companies on hand for this opportunity for job seekers.
The job fair is Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Huntsville from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 600 Governors Drive. People should use entrance No. 7  on St. Clair Avenue across from the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library.
The ReLaunch Job Fair provides opportunities for people who are changing careers, unemployed, underemployed, have dropped out of high school, who are not achieving their full potential, or are in need of a second career chance.
The goal is also to help local companies find capable workers and empower people by improving their quality of life and financial stability.Â
If anyone knows someone looking for a job, spread the word. The event is free to all job seekers – register here or at the door.Â
Candidates will meet one-on-one with company recruiters and many are often scheduled for interviews during the event.
A list of participating companies is available at hsvchamber.org. The industries include aerospace, education, healthcare, hospitality, municipal government, manufacturing, public utilities, and more.Â
