Iconic outdoor retailer L.L.Bean is opening its first Alabama location at Bridge Street Town Centre this Friday, April 3, with a weekend of family-friendly festivities.

The nearly 16,000-square-foot store will offer L.L.Bean’s full range of four-season apparel, footwear, and gear, including its signature Bean Boots and Boat and Tote bags. The grand opening celebration includes free product customization, photos with the Bootmobile, lawn games, giveaways, and Maine-inspired food and coffee from local partners.

The first 100 customers each day will receive special gifts, and L.L.Bean is contributing $10,000 to the Heart of the Valley YMCA to support summer camp access for underserved youth.

“Opening our first store in Alabama is an exciting milestone,” said Corey Bouyea, L.L.Bean vice president of stores and retail operations. “We look forward to welcoming Huntsville residents to explore our products and enjoy the outdoor-inspired weekend activities.”

The celebration runs Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
