Limestone County Economic Development Association accepting applications for CTE scholarships

ATHENS – The Limestone County Economic Development Association is accepting applications for the 2025 LCEDA CTE Scholarship Fund.

This scholarship provides a $1,500 award to Limestone County residents pursuing careers in manufacturing, construction, information technology, or healthcare.

“This scholarship is an investment in the future workforce of Limestone County,” said Bethany Shockney, president & CEO of LCEDA. “We are committed to supporting students who are passionate about careers in these high-demand industries, ensuring they have the resources to succeed.”
Applicants must be residents of Limestone County and complete the application form in its entirety to be considered. The deadline to apply is April 4. The online application is available at https://lceda.com/cte-scholarship-fund/.
The Scholarship Committee upholds a strict non-discrimination policy, ensuring that all applicants are considered regardless of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
Scholarship recipients will serve as ambassadors for LCEDA and agree to allow the use of photographs taken at the awards ceremony in company media.
