Madewell, L.L.Bean, Rowan and Crocs joining lineup at Bridge Street Town Centre

HUNTSVILLE – Addressing the “energy and evolution of the region,” Tanger has announced several national brands joining the Bridge Street Town Centre lineup.

“Since acquiring Bridge Street Town Centre in late 2023, Tanger has rapidly enhanced the open-air destination’s retail mix with a strategic wave of new leasing activity showcasing its commitment to the growing Huntsville market,” according to a Tanger news release.

Among the latest additions are Madewell, L.L.Bean, Rowan, Starbucks, and Crocs — each contributing to Bridge Street’s growing reputation as the premier shopping and dining center in North Alabama, the news release said.

“Bridge Street Town Centre is at the heart of one of the fastest-growing markets in the Southeast, and we are focused on delivering a thoughtful mix of brands that reflect the energy and evolution of the region,” said Maxine Miller, assistant vice president of Lifestyle Leasing at Tanger.

The new openings follow a series of significant brand additions under Tanger’s ownership, including Alabama’s only Lego Store, a market-exclusive Warby Parker, and an expanded Apple Store, underscoring the company’s investment in Huntsville and commitment to curating a best-in-class retail experience, Tanger said.

The new stores are:

  • Madewell
Opening in November on the corner next to H&M, Madewell will add its signature denim, elevated basics, and effortlessly modern style to the Bridge Street assortment.
  • L.L.Bean
Making its Alabama debut, the iconic outdoor lifestyle retailer will open next spring adjacent to Dick’s Sporting Goods. The new store will offer L.L.Bean’s full collection of outdoor inspired apparel and footwear.
  • Rowan
Scheduled to open in 2026, Rowan redefines ear piercing with a refreshing, safety-first approach centered on hypoallergenic jewelry and expert care. All piercings are performed exclusively by licensed nurses, ensuring the highest safety standards, while the brand delivers a celebratory experience for customers of all ages.
  • Starbucks
Now serving guests from a high-visibility endcap location with ample parking, Starbucks brings its iconic coffeehouse experience to Bridge Street. The new cafe offers indoor and patio seating, providing a convenient cozy spot for shoppers to recharge.
  • Crocs
Now open next to Bath & Body Works, Crocs delivers the global brand’s famously comfortable family footwear in a range of colors and styles. This is Crocs’ first store in Huntsville and its second location in the state.

With retailers including lululemon, Sephora, Anthropologie, Victoria’s Secret, and more, Bridge Street Town Centre was recently recognized in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Shopping Center, reinforcing its growing profile on the national stage.

“We’re proud to introduce in-demand, exclusive, and first-to-market retailers that elevate the overall shopper experience and reinforce Bridge Street’s position as a destination unlike any other in the state,” Miller said.
