Need something to do on Halloween? Get tickets to Tate Farms’ Pumpkin Destruction Day

After the jack-o-lanterns have been carved there is still one thing left to do before the pumpkin patch closes their doors: smash those pumpkins!

Tate Farms is known for their fall festivities, from the classic corn pits to the hay rides to the apple cannons. Of course, they are also the go-to spot to pick out the perfect front porch pumpkin— and also the answer to the temptation of smashing a pumpkin into bits.

Starting in 2018, Pumpkin Destruction Day is now a Halloween day extravaganza offering multiple ways to enjoy the satisfying smashing of pumpkins.

Pumpkin smashing happens on Halloween Day, October 31, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 for ages 2 and up or get a season pass to Tate Farms, which includes the Pumpkin Destruction Day.

Tate Farms has fun for all ages, with smashing zones for littles with pumpkins just their size and a smashing zone for the grown-ups who have been fighting that itch all season.

Enjoy all the beloved Tate Farms activities like the corn pits, hayrides and barnyard animals. In between those wholesome activities, take in the monster truck smashing show, the tannerite explosion or try your hand in the pumpkin smash zones. There are endless possibilities for a full day of Halloween excitement, including an end-of-day fireworks show.

Decorate your porch, carve those pumpkins and then join Tate Farms in celebrating the end of October with a bang.
