HUNTSVILLE — The city’s newest pro franchise is celebrating the roots of Huntsville.

The Rocket City Roots Kit is Huntsville City FC’s primary kit and it was unveiled in a special event this week at the Space Camp Operations Center.

From the city’s start as “Twickenham” to its heritage as the Rocket City, the kit is a tribute to the city’s innovation and community.

“It brings a new look,” said HCFC defender Jordan Knight. “I’m ready to wear it on the field.”

The custom jock tag at the bottom of the front features a rocket with deep tree roots, symbolizing how the city’s ambitions have always been grounded in its rich heritage.

The back of the neck features the word “Twickenham,” a nod to Huntsville’s first official name, serving as a reminder to the city’s transformation from its historic beginnings to a hub of progress and exploration.

The road jersey is designed with a moonscape feature sublimated into the material. “To The Moon” is on the back of the neck and the jock tag has the club’s HCFC logo.

Huntsville City FC’s official banking partner, Renasant Bank, returns for a third season as the front of jersey sponsor, with its wordmark across the chest.

The Rocket City Roots Kit and merchandise featuring Marshall the Cosmic GOAT will soon be available for sale online at HuntsvilleCityFCShop.com and at the team store at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium for the team’s home opener March 28 against Philadelphia Union II.
