“Alabama is building a strong foundation for success at every stage, from our youngest learners in Pre-K to those advancing their careers at workforce development centers,” said Gov. Kay Ivey. Investing in education and skills training is how we build a stronger Alabama, from the ground up. NACC is now officially open.”
NACC President Dr. David Campbell welcomed the crowd and thanked those who had a hand in the planning, funding, and completion of the $30 million state-of-the-art training facility.
“The NACC Workforce Center has been six years in the making and will prepare both current and future generations to excel in the workplace,” said House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter of Rainsville.
“The opening of this facility marks a critical step forward for our region,” said State Rep. Mike Kirkland. “The Workforce Training Center will serve as a bridge between education and industry, equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in today’s job market.
“We’re preparing not just for the jobs of today but also for the industries of tomorrow.”
