Registration open for City of Madison Update luncheon

(Huntsville/Madison County Chamber contributed)

MADISON — Madison Mayor Paul Finley who, several years ago, ceremoniously buried a hatchett with Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, initiating an era of cooperation between the cities, will deliver his final City of Madison Update next month in the Rocket City.

Continuing the spirit of cooperation, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber and the Madison Chamber of Commerce are joining to provide the forum at the Von Braun Center for the outgoing mayor.

Finley will highlight Madison’s progress over the years he served as mayor and his outlook for the fast-growing city.

Nearly 450 representatives from business, government and nonprofit organizations are expected to attend the Sept. 10 event.
