MADISON – ‘Twas the night before Opening Day and all through the ballpark, not a creature was stirring … well, except for the couple hundred Rocket City Trash Pandas fans, coaches, players, and staff.
For those who want to join the stirring April 5 at Toyota Field, tickets are on sale for the annual Meet the Team Dinner.
The dinner is 5:30-7:30 p.m. and features a buffet-style dinner. Trash Pandas players, coaches, and fans will be seated at each table.
Tickets cost $75 each and tables of seven are available for $400. All proceeds benefit the Rocket City Trash Pandas Foundation. To purchase tickets, click here.
Trash Pandas Manager Andy Schatzley, the 2022 Southern League Manager of the Year, will preview the upcoming season, followed by a question-and-answer session with players and coaches.
There will also be raffles for chances to win autographed and game-used memorabilia.
The heart of the lineup, aka buffet dinner, features:
- Seasonal mixed green salad (Seasonal mixed greens, cucumbers, heirloom tomatoes, shaved parmesan house croutons)
- Grilled Flank Steak (Chef Attendant Carving Station with chimichurri, and caramelized onion jam)
- Pan Seared Chicken (Marsala mushroom demi-glace with fresh herbs)
- Potato Sauté (Roasted garlic and fresh thyme)
- Chef’s Macaroni and Cheese (Cavatappi pasta and smoked gouda)
- Seasonal Vegetables
- Seasonal Assorted Desserts
