U.S. Space & Rocket Center opens Science of Guinness World Records exhibition

(Alabama Tourism Department)

The U.S. Space & Rocket continues to expand its vast and exciting array of educational exhibits with the opening of its Science of Guinness World Records exhibition.

The Rocket Center says this traveling exhibition reveals the secrets behind some of the most astonishing Guinness World Records ever set.

After over two years of development by Science North, the Rocket Center says the exhibition will challenge visitors to reconsider their preconceptions about what is possible and what they themselves can achieve. The vibrant, hands-on exhibition allows visitors to test themselves against some of the most unique world records to be set.

The Science Guinness World Records is co-produced by Ripley’s Entertainment and Science North, which is one of Canada’s largest and most well-regarded science centers.

The Science of Guinness World Records is included with general admission and will be on full display for World Space Week, Oct. 4-10. Throughout the week, the Rocket Center will feature activities and programs every day to celebrate 2021’s World Space Week theme, “Women in Space.”
