FLORENCE – Now that the University of North Alabama has closed out its time at Braly Stadium, the focus is on its new on-campus facility: Bank Independent Stadium.
To that end, the university recently published a new website – unabankindependentstadium.com – aimed at giving fans an inside look at the new landmark.
The page includes a “360-degree fly-through” video of how the multipurpose stadium is proposed to look once it’s completed in Fall 2026. Also included is information related to stadium seating, ticket prices, parking areas, and other benefit opportunities.
Athletic department officials said Bank Independent Stadium will have seating for fans at all price points.
“From premium options to more affordable spots, our stadium is designed to make it easy for fans of all ages to enjoy the exciting game-day experience,” the website says. “Certain sections carry a donation per seat, allowing supporters to directly invest in North Alabama student-athletes, while other areas are available with no seat donation required.”
Additionally, the per-seat donation grants membership into the Lions Athletic Club, which comes with various benefits based on the per-seat donation amount.
After touring the site in November, I can tell you all seating sections offer great views, including the general admission tiered grassy berm underneath the gigantic scoreboard.
The website also includes a map of on-campus gameday parking areas, both paid and first-come, first-served. Three reserved lots will accommodate those who purchase season parking passes, and handicapped-accessible lots will be available as well.
Tickets are set to go on sale in March.
The new webpage also includes Frequently Asked Questions; for more information, contact North Alabama Athletics at [email protected].
