WBRC exec to oversee Huntsville’s WAFF Channel 48

(Live News Globe contributed)

ATLANTA — Collin Gaston, regional vice president of Gray Television and general manager of WBRC-TV in Birmingham, will now also oversee Huntsville’s WAFF Channel 48, it was announced by Gray Television, the owner of WAFF.

The changes are the result of Senior Vice President-Local Media Tim Ingram’s resignation, the company said. He is pursuing other opportunities outside of Gray Television.

Gaston also oversees the company’s stations in Meridian, Miss., and Montgomery.

“We wish Tim all the best in his new endeavors and thank him for many years of service to Gray and the local communities in which he successfully led our leading local television stations,” said Gray COO Bob Smith.

Atlanta-based Gray Television owns or operates 180 stations across the United States in 113 markets.
