Weather puts chill on Christmas on the River

(Ditto Landing contributed)

HUNTSVILLE — With the forecast for inclement weather this week, the closing fireworks and festivities for Christmas on the River at Ditto Landing have been moved up, Madison County Commissioner Phil Riddick and Ditto Landing Executive Director Brandi Quick announced.

The closing fireworks show has been rescheduled to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and Reindeer Rails – the indoor holiday train and village display – will be open from 5-8 pm.

Christmas Card Lane, featuring giant Christmas cards, will remain open through the remainder of the month. However, the final drive-through night will be Tuesday.
