A place is set for everyone: Village of Promise hosts One Table Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE — Local nonprofit organization Village of Promise announces the return
of One Table Huntsville. The free, community meal represents one meal, one day, one table, and one city – united in food, fellowship, and fun for all.

VoP’s goal for the event is to bring people from all walks of life together, to give thanks together, creating unity and celebrating diversity. All are welcome and invited to attend the celebration Nov. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Huntsville’s Big Spring Park.

“Join us at One Table Huntsville, where we set a place for everyone,” said Village of Promise CEO Dana M. Gillis. “Come as strangers, leave as friends, and let the power of conversation and connection bridge the distance between us.”

This year marks VoP’s fifth year in hosting One Table Huntsville. TheVillage of Promise is a Family Advancement Center addressing the needs of children and families in distressed, high-poverty neighborhoods. VoP serves the community through daycare, Pre-K, parent training, community training, and family success programs.

One Table Huntsville represents a connection point for bridging the gap between the community the Village serves and the futures that are possible.

The event is free with catered offerings from Chef Allen Noble and vegan offerings from
Vujee Vegan. For more information, visit https://www.onetablehuntsville.org/,
