A thrilling week ahead for Trash Pandas and fans at Toyota Field

MADISON — The playoff-bound Rocket City Trash Pandas return to Toyota Field next week for a six-game series against their North Division foes, the Chattanooga Lookouts.

The week at Toyota Field begins with a “Country Night” and a “Cowboy Hat Giveaway” on Tuesday followed by “Dance Team Night” and a “Military Vintage Bobblehead Giveaway” on Wednesday.

Thursday is “Pregame Happy Hour” with firework spectaculars next Friday and Saturday.

The home series ends with “Kids Run the Bases” and a “Military T-Shirt Giveaway” on Aug, 21.

Aug. 16 

Gates open at 5 p.m., Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 and first pitch is set for 6:35.

Country Night & Cowboy Hat Giveaway: As part of Country Night at Toyota Field, 2,000 adults ages 18 and older will receive limited edition Trash Pandas Cowboy Hat, presented by Cavender’s.

Community Clubhouse Sale: Trash Pandas fans will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind game worn and autographed memorabilia, including jerseys, baseballs, and more, with the proceeds benefitting the Rocket City Trash Pandas Foundation.

Ladies Night: Ladies will have the opportunity to win great prizes and all fans can enjoy $1 off canned wine, sponsored by Reed Jewelers.

Aug. 17 

Gates open at 5 p.m., Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 and first pitch is set for 6:35.

Military Vintage Bobblehead: 2,000 adults ages 18 and older will receive a limited-edition Military Vintage Bobblehead, presented by the Wicks Family Foundation.

Dance Team Night: Before the game, local youth dance teams will be performing on the field on the first and third base side.

IDEXX Labs Dog Day: Fans can bring their furry friends to Toyota Field and sit with them on the Budweiser Berm. A $1 donation per dog is requested, benefitting Friends of Rescue, Inc. At the Bullpen Bar, fans can now purchase a pup cup for $5, a great treat of whipped cream for dogs to enjoy throughout the game.

Aug. 18 

Gates open at 5 p.m., Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 and first pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.

Night For Vets: Before the game, the Army will hold a swearing-in ceremony on the field, with new recruits set to join the service.

Tickets for the game will also be distributed to organizations including Still Serving Veterans, Honoring Veteran Legacies, and Gold Star Families.

Burgers & Buds Thursday: Fans can get a burger and a Bud or Bud Light for just $12, available at Dumpster Dive, Gravity Grille, or All-Stars concession stands.

Happy Hour: From 5-7 p.m., fans can enjoy $3 domestic drafts at the Inline Electric Rock Porch and Bill Penney Toyota Plaza. Kolby Dane will be performing at the Rock Porch before the game.

Aug. 19 

Gates open at 5 p.m., Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 and first pitch is set for 6:35.

Chick-fil-A Night: Fans will have the opportunity to purchase Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches and fries from a location on the concourse. In addition, Chick-fil-A will be running contests throughout the game where fans can catch a voucher attached to the famous Chick-Fil-A Cow with a chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year.

Live Music: Before the game, head to the Inline Electric Rock Porch for a live performance from Josh Allison.

Friday Night Fireworks: Following the game, a dazzling fireworks display will light up the Rocket City sky, presented by Chick-fil-A.

Aug. 20 

Gates open at 5 p.m., Trustmark VIP Gates open at 4:30 and first pitch is set for 6:35.

Saturday Night Fireworks: Following the game, fireworks will light up the Rocket City sky courtesy of Big Bear A.I.

Live Music: Before the game, head to the Inline Electric Rock Porch for live music from Morgan Laubach.

Aug. 21 

Gates open at 1 p.m., Trustmark VIP Gates open at 12:30 and first pitch is at 2:35.

Patriotic T-Shirt Giveaway: 2,000 adults ages 18 and older will receive a special Trash Pandas style T-Shirt, presented by KBR Inc. and KORD Technologies.

Kids Run The Bases: All kids are invited to run the bases after the game, presented by The Yard Milkshake Bar. Be sure to listen for an in-stadium announcement prompting those interested to line up at the designated location.

Josh Caray will be on the call for all home games on 103.9 FM The UMP and 730 AM SportsRadio. Home games will also be televised locally on WAAY 31.6, This TV. Check listings for additional carriers.
