MONTGOMERY — In response to the critical need for internet access, the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs has developed the Alabama Community Broadband Technical Assistance Program.
To provide information, ADECA is hosting meetings throughout North Alabama next month. There are sessions slated for Cullman, Morgan, Marion, Limestone, Lawrence, Colbert, Lauderdale, Winston, St. Clair, Blount, and Franklin counties.
ADECA is providing technical assistance for communities seeking to expand broadband infrastructure and services. The meetings have been scheduled to produce insights and the data needed to build broadband planning and deployment capacity. The calendar will be updated as more meetings are scheduled.
