GUNTERSVILLE The Alabama Farmers Federation has endorsed Rep. Jeana Ross for House District 27 in Marshall County.

“Rep. Ross is an outstanding public servant who is conservative, accessible and diligent in her work,” said John Bevel, president of the Marshall County Farmers Federation. “She realizes the importance of farming in this community and will serve as a strong voice for us in Montgomery.”

Ross holds a master of arts in education leadership from the University of Alabama and a bachelor of science in early childhood education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

A retired educator who served 26 years in public education, she was secretary of Alabama’s Department of Early Childhood Education under two governors.

Ross and her husband, Carey, have two married sons and twin grandchildren.
