DECATUR — The Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association has announced the slate of officers for the 2025–2027 term.
They were officially confirmed during the association’s recent annual meeting and will lead AMLA in its mission to promote and strengthen tourism across North Alabama.
“We are excited to welcome this talented group of tourism leaders to guide AMLA over the next two years,” said AMLA President/CEO Tami Reist. “Their vision, dedication and expertise will be instrumental in continuing to elevate North Alabama as a must visit destination and in supporting our members and partners throughout the region.”
The officers are:
- Chairman of the Board – Chad Davis, Deputy Director, Alabama State Parks (Lauderdale County)
- Chair-Elect – Teresa White Taylor, Vice President, Culture & Engagement, Yedla Management Company (Madison County)
- Secretary – Jamie Christian, Marketing and Membership Director, Northwest Alabama Economic Development Alliance (Marion County)
- Treasurer – Pammie Jimmar, President/CEO, Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce (Limestone County)
- Past Chair – Danielle Gibson, President/CEO, Decatur Morgan County Tourism (Morgan County)
AMLA is a nonprofit, membership-based organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the $4.9 billion North Alabama travel industry within the 16 northernmost counties of the state. It is supported by 500-plus members consisting of chambers of commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureaus, attractions, campgrounds, festivals, communities, golf courses, restaurants, accommodations and vendors.
The AMLA region includes Blount, Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan and Winston counties.
